After attending the 1st 100hrs of postgraduate chiropractic rehabilitation, I had the opportunity to watch marc heller's rehab video. Marc's video is better organized, easier to use the next day in practice, and obviously less expensive and easier to attend.
Lonnie Johnson,DC---
Marc Heller is among the foremost teachers and thinkers in the field of manual medicine. I respect his determination to uncover the deeper truth and to convey this in a clear and practical manner.
George Roth, DC, ND---
Marc Heller is a refreshing bright star in Chiropractic. He is never completely satisfied with our current concepts of healing and always strives to think and act "outside of the box". He continues to take numerous courses and synthesizes the material for easy digestion. I definitely recommend his seminars and videos.
Warren Hammer, DC, MS, DABCO
We recently completed our new video series, its available now.

The new videos are instructional videos, which means that they are short and succinct. We take about one hour for each area. These are easier to watch than the previous seminar videos, as there is no extraneous material, these are nutrient dense videos. We include a brief rehab piece in each video. Each video has a Power Point notes CD with it, that makes it easy to follow along and make your own notes. The series includes 5 videos. The brief description is below, I have also added pages that outline each video in depth. The names are a bit confusing, as we've used the same number system as previous. We are now calling the shorter ones, Framework Instructional Videos 1-5, the old ones are Framework Seminars One and Two.
The videos are $75 each. We are currently offering the whole set at a 22% discount, for $290, plus $15 shipping. They are available both in VHS format, as well as DVD. (The VHS are NTSC format, the US standard. The DVD's are region One, the US standard). Call my office to order, 541-482-0625, or fax us with your order, using the attached order form, 541-482-3364. You can print the order form, and mail it to us with a check, as well, to 987 Siskiyou, Ashland, OR 97520.
1-Principles- 90 minutes. We introduce the principles of the Framework low force approach. This includes diagnosis/assessment as well as manipulation approaches. We go over the soft approach to the barrier, global assessment, and priority testing with inhibition, correction via Engage, Listen, Follow, Recoil, introduce Muscle Energy and Positional Release. An excellent introduction, the best place to start.
2-The Pelvis-55 minutes. We teach how to assess and correct the ilio-sacral joints, including the pubic area, and the coccyx. We also introduce correction of the hip joint.
3-Lumbar Spine- 1:16, Lumbar Spine and more. Includes our approach to the lumbar disc, both sciatica and internally disrupted discs, introduce intra osseous techniques and dural methods. We teach our sacral corrections here. We wrap up with key exercises for the lumbar spine, and help organize the first three tapes with a Lower Body Evaluation Sequence.
4-Thoracic Spine and Chest Wall- 55 minutes. Techniques for the thoracic spine and rib cage, including the anterior chest wall, sterno-chondral area. We go over Muscle Energy technique in depth here, using the upper and lower thoracic spine as models.
5-Cervical Spine, 57 minutes. The cervical spine, and the significant fascial pulls that affect it. We go over the important Anterior Cervical Syndrome, and then work our way through the upper cervical spine to the occiput. We then go over basic rehab for the neck. We add advanced fascial techniques for the chest and anterior neck. We finish with an organizational tool, the Upper Body Evaluation Sequence.
Here's the older videos- of the whole seminars
We have videos of all of our classes. They generally are about half as long as the actual classes, as we do not video the workshop part. Obviously, you cannot get the hands on component via the video. They are ideal if you already have some background in similar work, such as cranial approaches, myofascial release or other hands on low force techniques. Its also great for review on your own. .
Basics of Rehab, our most popular video, 6 hours, $128 includes shipping, includes extensive handouts, both of exercise handouts and material to organize your rehab program. This is probably the one course of ours that you could really learn via video alone, especially if you have some rehab background.
Framework Seminar 1, 8 hours, $160, from 2002, better video, better graphics, the work we are writing about in Dynamic Chiropractic Series. Focus is on lower back and pelvis. Includes seminar notes.
Framework Seminar 2, 5 hours, $120, from 2002, focus on cervical, chest and upper back, includes seminar notes and links to articles on all of these techniques, companion to Framework 1.
Lower Extremity Adjusting, 4 hours, $80, by Mark Thomas DC
Upper and Lower Extremity Adjusting, 6 hours, $120, by Mark Thomas, DC, includes excellent workbook, Mark Thomas's most recent videotaped class from 2002.
